Hello there!
My name Catt. I’m Minnesota-based artist specializing in both
traditional and digital media. For as long as I've been able to hold a pencil, I've been drawing.
I use illustration as a tool to explore myself, others and the small rock we inhabit.
Professional History:
From February 2017 to December 2021, I worked as a graphic designer for a small children’s book
publisher. During my years in publishing, I designed and/or directed the art for several dozen books.
During this time, I also illustrated a drawing book series for Black Rabbit Books called Silly Sketcher.
Despite my love of design, I longed for something I could apply my own illustrative ability to. The more
I worked with other illustrators on book projects, the more clear it became that illustration is something I
wanted to be a part of my daily work.
In January of 2022, I set off on a new adventure working as a designer and illustrator for wedding and
holiday stationery. I spend each designing, illustrating and exploring exciting opportunities for growth.
Awards and Recognition:
Scholastic Silver Key Award for Fine Art 2011
